I really liked this picture of Jack. Can't wait until AWE comes out! Done with graphite and charcoal pencils. Alittle over 20 hours to do. What do you think? I'm trying to decide if I like it or not, I almost threw it out.

Edit: I worked somewhat on the nose and eyes again. Lighten the picture and worked alittle on his hair! I think I'm satisfied with it now. Does anyone ever have that "something is wrong with this and it just bugs the heck out of me" problem! Are we ever really satisfied with our work? This piece really bothered me for awhile. But as I said I think I'm satisfied with the out come now.

there are some slight perspective issues, maybe. unlikely. but maybe.

idk. somthing about his eyes. look... cartoonish? and i think you need to work on dredlocks. idk just. doesnt look so real. still ike ti though i mean hey its hard to make johnny depp look bad. eh?

It looks good,/ The eyes are slightly off.

Whats AWE? Is it the next Pirate movie? If it is, I say to you save your money and wait until it come out on dvd, It will be worth a rental 0nly.

Amazing, really.
There's something about his face that isn't quite right, though.
The shading under his eyes and around his mouth, maybe?

I was going to do this piccie in charcoals, but the full piccie not just his face however i decided against it.

Anyway, please dont throw it out. It is very well drawn! I absoloutly love his hat and hair.

I would say though to add a little bit of shading to the white of his eyes so they arent as bright as the highlight.
